One of the most important things you can do to stay safe is to be aware of your surrounds and know where to find the emergency exits. Beyond the way you came into the building, it is important that you know all the ways out. Join the SCPD on a tour of the Legislative Office Building and the Capitol building for a walking tour of all the emergency exits around the complex. Each building takes about 30 minutes and participants should be prepared to use the stairs. Comfortable walking shoes recommended.<\/p>\n
