Associate Commission Analyst
Commission on Racial Equity in Public Health

Muna is an Associate Commission Analyst at the Commission on Racial Equity in Public Health. Growing up in the United Kingdom, Muna attended the University of Manchester where she obtained her law degree, followed by a subsequent LLM at UConn Law in Connecticut. Muna formerly worked as a Legislative and Political Adviser in the House of Lords, UK Parliament, and managed the bill process of landmark legislation such as the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Upon moving to the United States, Muna worked at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, where she helped roll out their flagship education program, Generation Global across schools in America. As a trained facilitator, she led videoconferences relating to culture, difference, and identity among middle and high school age students with their peers in the U.S. and around the world.

Muna brings her legislative, policy analysis, and political experience to CREPH, and hopes that working with the Executive Director and the team, together, they can make Connecticut a more equitable place for all.
