Lucia Goicoechea-Hernández, Special Projects Coordinator

Lucia Goicoechea-Hernández has worked for the Connecticut General Assembly since September 2000. She currently serves as the Special Projects Coordinator for the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity & Opportunity. Prior to working for the Connecticut General Assembly Mrs. Goicoechea-Hernández served as the Executive Assistant to the Principal at SAND Elementary School, was the Executive Director for the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities for the City of New Britain and worked for the Town of West Hartford in the Human Resources Office.

She has a Master’s Degree in Human Service Administration from Antioch New England Graduate School and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services from Southern New Hampshire University. Ms. Goicoechea-Hernández graduated from the Women’s Campaign School at Yale in June 2016.
