The program will include a flag raising ceremony and a <strong>panel discussion<\/strong> moderated by Donna Campbell, Chair of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission, exploring how historical and present-day injustices impact Black mental health, and will offer powerful insights on healing, cultural pride, and collective strength. Panelists include:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Gary Rhule \u2013 Healthcare Management Consultant, Public Health Practitioner, and Author<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Jodi Hill-Lilly \u2013 Commissioner, Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Unique Medina \u2013 Professional in the study of Birth and Wellness<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Laurel Rivera Stone \u2013 Midwife; Certified Yoga and Meditation Instructor<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nLegislative remarks by State Representatives Manny Sanchez, Derell Wilson, and Trenee McGee\r\n\r\nJuneteenth, observed on June 19, marks the official end of slavery in the United States.
