Rare Books and Special Collections Librarian\, Eric Johnson-DeBaufre will illuminate the remarkable journey of a unique document\, tracing its origin from a free Black community in Brooklyn to the hands of one of the library’s most significant benefactors. College Librarian and Director of the Watkinson Library\, Christina Bleyer will discuss current and future initiatives for the Watkinson Library that are rooted in Hartford and its diverse cultures.
