Possessing that unmistakably authentic organic roots sound with an expansively eclectic mix that takes their performances seamlessly into hybrid valleys and mountains. They delivered their 10th studio album on their very own label CTBC(Cool To Be Conscious) Music Group. Strictly Roots interestingly pays homage to the elders\, while ironically\, also blazes the trail towards the exciting future of roots. The album successfully incorporates R&B and a hint of dancehall\, but goes a step further effortlessly fusing a type of roots\, pop and dancehall majesty that only Morgan Heritage can achieve. The free concert series\, representing a multi-year partnership between the City of Hartford and GoodWorks Entertainment\, will bring a mix of nationally touring and local acts to Connecticut’s Old State House in Downtown Hartford. Hartford Live events will take place on six Thursday evenings from 5-9 pm throughout August and September. The shows are all free with no ticket required for entry.
