A familiar symbol on courthouses, she bears the standard symbols of justice: the sword, blindfold, and scales.<\/p>\n

Justice was placed on top of the building\u2019s clock tower in 1827. 149 years later, the statue was brought inside to prevent further damage and replaced with a fiberglass copy.<\/p>\n
