Excited about Connecticut History Day but not sure where to start?<\/p>\n

Enjoy a FREE day-long workshop that introduces the five History Day project categories, explores the National History Day\u00ae judging rubric, and assists teachers with implementing the program. Rhode Island State History Day Coordinator and former classroom teacher, Michelle Walker, will share strategies she uses to weave History Day into your curriculum and support students. View examples of each type of project category (paper, exhibit, performance, documentary, website) and discuss how to guide students through choosing and completing their projects.<\/p>\n

Participants will enjoy a complimentary tour of the Tantaquidgeon Museum and a list of Mohegan research topics that relate to the theme Rights and Responsibilities in History.<\/p>\n
