I find all history of major importance, we as people learn from each other’s culture and history. We cannot understand our society or our history until we increase the diversity of what we teach. It’s why we fought & voted on this piece of legislation to be inclusive. I’m proud to be a part of the first state in the nation to require courses on Black, Puerto Rican and Latino studies.
