Christianne (Christy) Kovel serves as the Connecticut Government Relations Director for the Alzheimer’s Association. In this role, she works with lawmakers, stakeholders, and grassroots advocates to advance the Association’s state policy priorities. She also collaborates with state agencies on public health and dementia training initiatives.
Christy’s previous experience includes roles in long-term care facilities and the Connecticut General Assembly. She earned a Master’s in Human Development/Gerontology from the University of Saint Joseph.
Christy is the Chair of the Seniors’ Subcommission.
