Christian Duborg, Food & Nutrition Policy Analyst, oversees food and nutrition policy for the Commission, having joined in January of 2024. Christian provides liaison between policymakers, community stakeholders and various partners around legislative initiatives that seek to promote overall food security, access to nutritious food, and a stronger, more equitable food system throughout the state of Connecticut.
Before coming to the Commission, Christian was a K-12 educator, first at Upper Pointe Coupee Elementary School and then at the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition. Christian received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Arab Crossroads Studies from NYU Abu Dhabi in 2020 and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Louisiana State University in 2024.
