Listening Skills

“You’re on mute. We can’t hear you.”

Listening can be a challenge, even when your microphone is on and fully working. The distractions, both physical and mental, that have occurred during the pandemic have taken a toll on our listening skills.  Did you know that we remember only a dismal 25-50% of what we hear? Together in this class we will review what it really takes to become an active listener. The results just might influence your productivity and relationships both at work and at home.

In this class we will:

• Discuss what makes listening so challenging… especially now
• Explore the difference between hearing and listening
• Learn the 3 Levels of Listening
• Review key elements for active listening and make a commitment to improve
• Practice listening!
