Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation / Automated External Defibrillators
Heartsaver CPR /AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult, child and infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult, child and infant. This course teaches skills with American Heart Association’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.
Please note: Participants will pay an administrative fee around $20 to receive the required certification card from the American Heart Association. (Details will be emailed to participants as the date approaches.) The fee is the same regardless if you take both CPR and First Aid or if you take only one of the classes. Participants are strongly encouraged to take both CPR and First Aid. This class includes a 30 minute break for lunch. Class size is limited. Please contact Officer Giansanti at 860-240-0240 with questions.
This training is ideal for FIRST time certification.
