Heartsaver® First Aid

Heartsaver® First Aid, an American Heart Association training class, is a video-based and instructor-led course that teaches participants critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Participants learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.

Please note: Participants will pay an administrative fee around $20 to receive the required certification card from the American Heart Association. (Exact amount and details will be communicated to those enrolled by email.) The fee is the same regardless if you take both CPR and First Aid or if you take only one of the classes. Participants are strongly encouraged to take both CPR and First Aid. This class includes a 30 minute break for lunch and stretch breaks. Please contact Officer Giansanti at 860-240-0240 with questions.

This training is ideal for FIRST time certification.
