Communicating with our customers/constituents is our top priority but when you don’t speak the same language, critical information may be lost. This series of classes will introduce staff to basic Spanish phrases that may immediately be applied in the workplace. You’ll learn how to ask critical questions and, more importantly, you’ll be taught key words to increase your comprehension. Participants will be given assignments to work on in-between classes.

Important Note:  When you enroll for this class, you are signing up for the 6-week series.  These one-hour classes will take place in-person on Wednesdays from October 15th through November 19th from 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Those who successfully complete the series will receive The Spirit of Victory Certificate for Spanish Beginners at the annual certificate celebration.

Please understand the commitment: In-person classes that start on time once a week for six weeks, highly active class participation, homework, a final learning comprehension, and an application conversation.
