The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 was enacted to ensure that all qualified individuals with disabilities enjoy the same opportunities that are available to persons without disabilities. This training will detail the general requirements under the Act and provide guidelines on how to effectively respond to requests for accommodations by members of the public. Participants will meet Brian Pencz, the CGA ADA Coordinator, and learn how and when to refer requests to him and his staff in OLM.
This training will be held on Zoom and participants will watch a previously recorded training and have an opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion of the video. Choose one of two dates to participate in this training.
Those who have not attended this training in the past, must attend this year. This includes new clerks and new assistant clerks.
