Retirement is more than a financial event; it’s an emotional one, too. In this workshop, participants will explore what it means to mentally prepare for retirement and how each person’s journey may be different. Judith Stonger, who was the CGA’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) contact for years before she retired, will return to share the five ingredients for emotional well-being in retirement, the emotional mix of feelings going into retirement, and insight on creating a new rhythm.
Additionally, Judith will be joined by an amazing panel of retired CGA staff members to give you their input on how to make the most out of the retirement journey. Panelists include:
- Susan Keane (retired Appropriations Committee Administrator)
- Dawn Marzik (retired HDO Constituent Engagement Coordinator)
- Jim Tamburro (retired CGA Executive Director)
