New Year – New Word

Choosing a word for the new year has become a popular activity to replace the chore of writing a traditional list of new year’s resolutions. When chosen well, a single word can serve as a lens through which to view the upcoming year, a source of motivation, a guidepost, or a mindset. This highly interactive, upbeat, and crafty gathering will give participants the opportunity to engage in several activities to help them narrow their focus for the new year. At the conclusion of the workshop participants will create visual aids with their new year’s word to serve as a reminder throughout the calendar year.
