           Immigration Roundtable

Join us for the Immigration Roundtable, hosted by the Connecticut Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity & Opportunity (CWCSEO), on April 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Legislative Office Building, Room 2B, Hartford, Connecticut.

This free event is open to the general public and will focus on Connecticut’s approach to national immigration enforcement trends. Featured speakers include Connecticut Attorney General William Tong (Keynote Speaker), immigration attorneys, diplomats, legislators, and civil rights leaders. Melvette Hill, CWCSEO Executive Director, will serve as the moderator.

The roundtable aims to foster a comprehensive discussion on the impact of federal immigration enforcement on Connecticut’s communities. It will address challenges and legal considerations and share public information to ensure Connecticut remains a safe and welcoming state for all residents.
