Michael Werner, Legislative Aging Policy Analyst oversees the Senior policy division for the Commission and provides liaison duties with state officials, policymakers and community stakeholders around legislative initiatives that seek to enhance meaningful opportunities for Older Adult residents in our state. Michael’s academic background includes a B.A. in International Studies from American University in Washington, D.C., a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford, CT, and an appointment as the Public Interest Fellow & Research Scholar at Yale Law School’s Career Development Office in New Haven, CT.
