Rosemary López, Women’s Legislative Policy Analyst

Rosemary López, the Commission’s Women’s Legislative Policy Analyst oversees the Women’s policy division for the Commission and provides liaison duties with state officials, policymakers and community stakeholders around legislative initiatives that seek to enhance meaningful opportunities for women in our state. Ms. Lopez previously served as Senior Resource Coordinator for the Commission on Women, Children and Seniors and the former Permanent Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW), where she honed a wealth of management and coordination skills while working directly for the Executive Director as the primary contact to the public and our Commissioners.

In 2013 she was selected by CWEALF as a Woman of Inspiration. Lifelong residents of the city of Hartford, she and her family reside in Newington, CT.
