Celebrating Black Fatherhood at the Capitol. The CWCSEO hosted an event highlighting the importance, value, and contributions of fathers through their presence and involvement in their children’s lives. The Commission presented a presentation of the CT Fatherhood Initiative, a Panel Discussion on the role of fathers in parenting, and Introduced Black History Month Artist, Joshua Woodyard. This was a collaborative effort with the Connecticut Sun and Angel of Edgewood.
