Hartford Live Concert Featuring Rubbelbucket

Hartford Live,presented by GoodWorks Entertainment, is an ambitious addition to the city’songoing economic development and activation campaign.

Rubblebucket is anAmerican art-pop and indie-rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The prolificgroup’s newest record, Earth Worship is an album with renewed shimmer,showcasing Rubblebucket’s intricately sparkling beats, hushed-yet-hooky vocals,and irresistible melodic complexity—a celebration of togetherness,environmental curiosity, and the pleasure in doing what you love.

Kalmia Traver and AlexToth, the group’s front persons, co-writers and co-producers, first began afriendship as jazz students at the University of Vermont. Soon after, theyformed Rubblebucket, using the project to delve into pop, funk, dance andpsychedelia; performances have spanned Bonnaroo to Glastonbury to theirself-curated Dream Picnic Festival, and they’ve collaborated with kindredgenre-blenders including Arcade Fire and Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears.
