Education

Connecticut’s Old State House offers a variety of educational programs that captivate and engage students in participatory learning experiences. Designed with both students and teachers in mind, our civics and history programs are aligned with the Connecticut Core Standards and Social Studies Frameworks.

We are proud to offer both on-site and virtual school programs for K-12 students. Connecticut’s Old State House is also the home of two award-winning statewide programs from The Connecticut Democracy Center: Connecticut’s Kid Governor^® for 5th graders and Connecticut History Day for middle and high-schoolers.
