Summer Concert Series: Nekita Waller

Join us for our annual FREE Summer Concert Series! This year, the Summer Concerts will be held on the East Lawn of Connecticut’s Old State House beginning at noon. Concerts will also be live-streamed on our Facebook page and YouTube channel!

No tickets or reservations needed to attend this free concert at Connecticut’s Old State House.

Feel free to bring a picnic, some lawn games, and even your dog and enjoy the summer concerts!

About the Artist:
Nekita Waller is Connecticut’s 17th State Troubadour. As State Troubadour, Nekita has been performing her original song, “Connecticut Anthem”, at schools and special events. Nekita is the first African American soloist and first non-folk genre artist to be chosen as Connecticut’s State Troubadour.

Nekita’s music has been described as pop and soul. She performs her original music along with music spanning many decades and different genres from Motown, Aretha Franklin, and Stevie Wonder to the hits of today.
