About the Artist:

Tales of Joy has been cooking up the finest reggae-soul and dance music since 2016. Smashing all preconceived notions of what a reggae band should look and sound like, Tales of Joy seamlessly blends reggae with hints of soul, disco, funk, and Latin into their unique sound. Having played at acclaimed festivals such as Strangecreek Campout and Wormtown Music Festival, and alongside national acts such as Badfish, Roots of Creation, and Sawyer Fredericks, ToJ has quickly established itself as a premier live band with unbelievable showmanship, musicianship, and personality. Based in New England, ToJ has quickly and successfully spread its vibe and its name across the country.
About the Summer Concert Series:
The Summer Concert Series at Connecticut’s Old State House is sponsored by the Richard P. Garmany Fund of the Hartford Foundation of Public Giving and the Evelyn Preston Memorial Fund.
