The 2024-2025 Red, White & Blue Schools theme is Our Government, Our Voices!

With this year’s theme, we invite applicants to submit activities that help students understand both how our government impacts people’s lives and how government decisions are often made as a result of the involvement of the people. Discussions and activities about “government” can include elections and the structure of national, state, and local governments, but they may also focus on institutions such as school boards, local committees, and regulatory agencies that impact our daily lives. We encourage applicants to share activities that guide students to recognize that people – past and present – can use their voices in a variety of ways to ensure that government institutions consider all people in making decisions.
