2026-2027 Annual Theme
The 2026-2027 Red, White & Blue Schools theme is From Passion to Participation!
This year’s theme invites all learners to explore the issues they care about most and discover how those passions can inspire real civic action. When learners connect their interests with community needs, they begin to understand how participation—big or small—shapes the world around them. From Passion to Participation encourages students to investigate, discuss, and take meaningful steps toward improving their classroom, school, neighborhood, or state.
We will hold a webinar in fall 2026 to kick off this year’s Red, White & Blue Schools program and to share more information about the theme.
Schools may begin participating at any point during the school year. Applications for the 2027 cycle are due on Friday, April 30th, 2027!
